The Vampire Facial might be one of the more unique treatments or things I have ever done. Let me start off by telling you exactly what The Vampire Facial is. The Vampire Facial also known as Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP), is taking blood from your own arm then spinning it into a centrifuge to separate the plasma from the red and white blood cells. The Plasma is rich in platelets which is loaded with growth factors. The vampire facial is a treatment combining the Skin Pen and my own plasma. Read about my Skin Pen experience Here. In short, the Skin Pen is a micro-needling device that makes micro punctures in your skin. Your skin responds by producing collagen and other proteins to reveal youthful, glowing skin. Once the Skin Pen has made punctures the plasma is then applied over the wound and this helps with the regeneration process tremendously.
