Spring has Sprung! Spring is, for many reasons, without a question my favorite season of the year. If I had to narrow it down to one reason, though, I would say I appreciate all of the new and exciting changes in the fashion world that accompany Spring. The colors are become brighter and exciting new outfits seem to be everywhere. In contrast, when I think of Winter fashion I think Layers. When I think of layers, I tend to think about looking bulky and dealing with the struggle of choosing whether to stay warm or look cute. If I had to summarize the Spring vs Winter question, I’d put it this way – wedges over boots all day long! Besides, how will you see my fun toe nail polish in boots? Plus, I think a Statement Necklace makes more of a statement than any scarf. But I digress.

Something I personally have fun with is mixing a less expensive piece with a higher quality piece. I’ve been known to be a smart shopper, always looking for a good deal. Accessories are my favorite thing to shop for! Accessorizing is the icing on the cake, the key piece (or pieces) that can take your outfit from day to night or from casual to dressy.

This particular haul I wanted to keep things bright and chose items I knew I could wear multiple ways. Earrings- they are quite the necessity in my closet! Unless I’m headed to the gym earrings are always in my ears. Next to Silver, Turquoise is my color of choice! It contrasts nicely with just about any color. I guess I’m trying to explain why you see an abundance of Turquoise in this haul haha!

I’m all about layering necklaces so I loved that this necklace from Express came layered for me. Express is my favorite place for accessories. They’re not the least expensive, but with the right coupons and rewards points they can be. But with this Quality, I’d pay for them regardless.

Just Fab- I’m sure you’ve heard of it. You pay a $40 monthly subscription for a pair of shoes of your choice. If you don’t want a pair that month you simply “skip” that month. The quality of shoes I’ve received thus far has been great. Not the best quality if we’re comparing to some insane high end brand that will cost a mortgage, but definitely great. When I initially saw these colorful heels, I clicked away thinking “too bold for me”. Then my closet flashed through my mind and I realized these “too bold for me shoes” could be toned down with a solid colored dress or a boyfriend jean and a tank.
